When your baby was born did s/he fit into newborn size or 0-3month?

Iv boughten a couple outfits for when my sons born, one newborn size and one 0-3 months. I remember my first son was in 0-3 month clothing when he was born but they were quite big on him, he was 7lbs 15oz, 21 and a half inches long. How long did your baby fit into newborn sizes? Also i bought them from walmart(i find that sizes of clothes are different with different stores) so if you bought them from walmart too that would be an even better comparison. Thanks=]
