Was The Donald "Set-Up" by the Washington Post?

They invited him to the White House Correspondent's Dinner and he was seated right in the middle for the cameras to catch his reactions to the ruthless (but funny) jokes made at his expense. He could have pretended to laugh so he wouldn't look like such a schmuck. I guess he takes himself pretty seriously.
